Re Visit
When I returned from serving in Germany while in the Army in the early 1990's the cigar I often went to to replace the Bolivars and Montecristos from Cuba I had smoked was Te-Amo. These Mexican sticks were fuller bodied then the Macanudos I also smoked. The cigar boom unfortunately had an effect on quality for this solid label and I often thought the draw was like trying to use a straw in a Wendy's Frosty. I saw that they have rebranded it and released three vitolas.and purchased a Toro and this Robusto. This 5X54 Robusto is a Mexican Puro with a Habano San Andres wrapper covering Negro San Andres binder with Habano San Andres filler. The cigar was well packed, but the draw was perfect. Construction was superb and I fully enjoyed this reimagined label. Medium to full bodied at the start and progressed to a solid full bodied smoke. Earth and spice are foremost. I am happy to be able to enjoy this brand again..
