I had stayed away from the Gurkha line for many years as I felt this once premier portfolio had lost their way. I tried the Yakuza and loved it so I tried this Titan. It is a 6.25X56 Gordo with a Costa Rican Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Honduras, DR and Columbia aged in cedar for five years. The Maduro gives it a subtle bit of sweetness along with Cedar and earthy tones. The draw and burn was consistent as construction was superior. My one issue was band took a small piece of wrapper off, but I may have removed too soon. Over all I have purchased a 15 cigar sampler of many of Gurkhas line and look forward to future exploration.

(16 days ago)Hmmmm... I may have to rethink my anti-Gurkha mindset and be open to checking them out one of these days. I'm looking forward to your reports on all the other sticks in that sampler. Cheers!
