Smoked: Hill view country club

I went to an event at Castro’s Back Room in Nashua. I was working through picking up a bunch of Cavalier cigars and the guy behind the counter asked if I have ever tried one of these. I’m glad I said no. He produced a stick that made me think of Clint Eastwood. I usually don’t go for the smaller ring cage but what the heck. It had a pigtail which was cool. I lit it up while golfing and was pleasantly surprised. I don’t put the cigar down during my game and this one was comfortable enough to keep there. It burned really well and was one of those smokes that had different flavor profiles as you got deeper into the stick. It was not very heavy and had hints of pepper, cedar and wood. It did seem to have a sweeter taste in the middle somewhere. I thought it was interesting that it went back and forth between flavors. I was pretty happy with the choice and if you are a medium cigar person it is worth a shot. I love to try some of the smaller companies to see what is out there. So far I have enjoyed that plan.
