The Annual Return of Rare Corojo
Like birds migrating south, or the northern lights decorating the winter arctic sky, there’s a certain magic to events that only occur during part of the year. That magic extends to the incredible cigar that is: Rare Corojo. That’s right, Rare Corojo. I even put Rare in the name so it’s idiot-proof.
Right now marks the time of year one of my most popular (and tasty) blends make’s its annual return from hibernation, for a short yet incredible period, and graces itself into your humidors.
Mr. Punch, Mr. Punch, what makes Rare Corojo, Rare?
Well, I’ll tell you.
When blending Rare Corojo, I only select the best Sumatra leaves to be used for the wrapper; meaning it can take up to two years for these flavorful leaves to reach just the right spot for cultivation. Next, I add in an aged Connecticut broadleaf binder and a mix of delicious Criollo (cree-oh-yo) fillers to round out the perfect seasonal treat from your favorite dude (me, Mr. Punch).
Rare Corojo doesn’t stick around forever, so get it in your humidor before it goes.
Cheers,
Mr. Punch
