Macanudo has just released Estate Reserve Release No. 3, their third cigar made in collaboration with Flint Knoll winery in Napa Valley. Featuring tobacco aged in the same French Oak barrels as Flint Knoll’s 2021 Royal Appointment Cabernet Sauvignon, the cigar is heavily influenced by the award-winning wine and the barrels in which they are finished.
Macanudo is bringing back a fan favorite for another limited-edition run. Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade was originally released in 2021 and will again be available in stores starting June 2024. It will feature the same blend and packaging as the original 2021 cigar.
Earlier this year, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) opened the second Club Macanudo smoking lounge in America at the Margaritaville Resort & Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana. To celebrate, the opening we’re offering Cigar World members the chance to win a two-night stay, with spa and food credit included!
Macanudo is expanding with a new blend highlighted by European tobacco. The new cigar, Macanudo Emissary España, features Havana-seed Spanish tobacco grown near the town of Riolobos, Spain — an area renowned for producing products like olives and pepper. This is the first Macanudo to feature European tobacco. Macanudo Emissary España is a full-time release.
In honor of General Cigar’s return to PCA, the cigar powerhouse has partnered with Chicago-based putter manufacturing icon Bettinardi Golf on a trio of limited edition branded putters.
And when we say limited edition, we mean limited. As in these three are all 1-of-1, collector-level putters made in collaboration with Bettinardi and GCC brands Cohiba, Macanudo and CAO.
For the second year running, Macanudo has collaborated with the Flint Knoll Winery of Napa Valley, California, to produce a cigar with tobacco aged in French Oak Cabernet wine barrels. The new cigar, called Macanudo Estate Reserve Release No. 2, will hit shelves nationwide in October 2023. Like the first Macanudo Flint Knoll Estate Reserve, this cigar is a limited-edition release.
Macanudo is releasing another cigar featuring vintage tobacco. The new smoke –– called Macanudo Vintage Maduro 2013 –– features tobacco grown in the Connecticut River Valley ten years ago and aged over that time. Vintage Maduro 2013 is a full-time release for Macanudo.
Macanudo is releasing a new, limited-edition cigar to the Inspirado line. The new smoke called Macanudo Inspirado Tercio-Aged, unsurprisingly, features tercio-aged tobacco. Tercios are large bales made from the bark of the Royal Palm Tree. They are used to store tobacco and to develop flavor from the leaves as they age. Inspirado Tercio-Aged is set to arrive in stores in early April.
