The world of Connecticut Shade just keeps getting more and more diverse.
*This video educates on cigar craftsmanship and culture without promoting tobacco use or sales.*
Now, it's easy to see a single cigar maker producing multiple shade blends within their own catalog. The result is a cigar world that's filled with a colossal diversity of blends and profiles wrapped in cafe cream colored wrappers. Today I'm picking apart two Connecticut cigars from Southern Draw. Their original Rose of Sharon is one of the most highly rated cigars I've heard of. It's earned multiple 99/100 ratings from reviewers. Now, blender Robert Holt has moved on to a new shade project with the Morning Glory. but just how different can it be... and can it earn the same accolades from the critics that it's predecessor has?
In this smokedown challenge these two cigars will battle through 3 rounds on presentation, construction, and flavor to see exactly how they compare to each other, and which has 'the stuff'.
