Puro Sabor 2024 Day 2 - Cigar Snob

Puro Sabor's 2nd day rolled on at Oliva Cigar’s Hacienda d' Ernesto, more than a farm, it’s a tobacco farming innovation hub. Groups split up, one tried their hand at planting seedlings, the other delved into tobacco varieties and genetics with Ernesto Milanes and Vivaldo Garcia.

Later, atop a scenic hilltop, we smoked Oliva Serie V Melanio while Oliva's owner Fred Vandermarliere welcomed us before a sensory rum tasting led by Flor de Caña's ambassador. The evening peaked with dinner, smoking, and dancing at Scandinavian Tobacco Group. Afterwards, some of us weren’t ready to call it quits so the party moved to Estelí's infamous Famous Bar. If you don’t know the place, you probably will on your visit to Estelí. All parties seem to end there in recent years 🍻
