Punch Debuts New Cigar: Dad’s Home Movies

For the second year in a row, Punch is releasing a limited-edition cigar for Father’s Day. The new cigar called Dad’s Home Movies features VHS-style packaging and comes in a “cartridge” as opposed to a traditional box. Dad’s Home Movies is a spiritual successor to last year’s release, Punch Dad Bod, and it is slated to release May, 1, 2024. 

Punch Dad’s Home Movies Blend Information

Punch Dad’s Home Movies features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler tobacco. It is a medium-to-full-bodied blend.

Brand Manager of Punch Cigars, John Hakim, had this to say about the new release. 

"Don't let the fun package lead to you believe the cigar is a joke. So much Nicaraguan tobacco!  A binder from Condega surrounds fillers from Condega, Ometepe, and Esteli. Punch Dad’s Home Movies offers tasting notes of spice and cream then transitions to sweet wood and nut with some grassy notes as the cigar mellows slightly in the second half.
