Tabacalera Perdomo has announced details on two new releases, the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Sun Grown and Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Maduro. The two offerings will begin to reach retailers this August.

“Our Perdomo Reserve line has been on the market for over 20 years. We wanted to come out with something really special to honor the history of the brand and offer a cigar that every cigar smoker would truly fall in love with,” states Nick Perdomo, Jr., President, and CEO in. press release. “We blended these cigars with 6-year aged Cuban-seed wrapper, binder, and filler tobaccos that we carefully hand-selected from our most prestigious farms located in the Estelí, Condega, and the famed Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. We blended these cigars to not only be rich in flavor, but also to be very smooth on the pallet with slight hints of sweetness. Our tasting panel with over 250 years of cigar making and premium tobacco experience was amazed at how great this blend tastes.”

Both the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Sun Grown and Maduro lines are box-pressed 100% Nicaraguan offerings.

The Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Sun Grown features al 6-year old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan wrapper that has been bourbon-barrel-aged for an additional 10 months over a 6-year old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

Both cigars are packaged in 25 count boxes in the following sizes: Figurado (4 3/4 x 56), Robusto (5 x 54), Epicure (6 x 54), Torpedo (7 x 54), Churchill. Pricing is set at $7.25 to $9.75 per cigar, excluding state and local taxes. Perdomo has said the pricing of the new cigars is consistent with the Perdomo Champagne 10th Anniversary with no price increase.

The cigars will replace the current Perdomo Champagne Noir and Perdomo Champagne Sun-Grown and be positioned alongside the company’s flagship Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne Connecticut.
