Macanudo is expanding with a new blend highlighted by European tobacco. The new cigar, Macanudo Emissary España, features Havana-seed Spanish tobacco grown near the town of Riolobos, Spain — an area renowned for producing products like olives and pepper. This is the first Macanudo to feature European tobacco. Macanudo Emissary España is a full-time release.

Macanudo Emissary España Blend Information

Macanudo Emissary España contains carefully aged tobacco from five different countries: a US Broadleaf Claro wrapper, a Nicaraguan Condega binder, and filler tobaccos from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Spain. The Spanish tobacco within Emissary España was aged for ten years.

Tasting notes include toasted cedar, almonds, and caramel. Macanudo Emissary España’s factory of origin is in Honduras.

Steve Abbot, Director of Marketing for Macanudo said, “The inspiration for Emissary came from our search for a refined smoking experience influenced by European sophistication. Using Spanish tobacco to create Macanudo Emissary Espana, we are confident that we’ve delivered on this goal.”

Drink pairings include single malt Scotch, espresso, and cognac.
