La Gloria Cubana Releases a New Type of Tobacco
The artisans at La Gloria Cubana have done it again, this time taking things a step further with their latest craft, Corojo de Oro. This cigar features a new variety of tobacco exclusively grown at their farm in the Dominican Republic, cultivated by crossing two Habano seeds. The result is an incredibly complex blend that delivers the ultimate balance of sweet and spice.
La Gloria Cubana Corojo de Oro Blend Information
Corojo de Oro is a four-country blend featuring an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a mix of Brazilian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos. But the real star of this masterpiece is the Corojo de Oro binder.
This rare tobacco was cultivated at our farm in the Dominican Republic by crossing two Habano seeds, Corojo 97-98 and Pelo de Oro. Upon smoking, you’ll experience deep notes of leather, oak, and vanilla.
Suggested drink pairings include Rye, Red Zinfandel, and IPA.

(10 months ago)Is this the type of new cigar to make a significant investment in, age it and then resell say 5 years from now?
