Introducing Punch Dad Bod

Punch is celebrating Father’s Day this year with a limited-edition cigar that will draw plenty of attention across the industry. The new release, “Dad Bod," is a 4.5 X 60 figurado adorned with a “necktie” extending down the cigar from the band. What’s more, Dad Bod will be sold not in boxes but in special “beer” cans containing five cigars each and a Boveda humidity pouch. 

Punch Dad Bod Blend Information

Dad Bod is a stand-alone cigar in the Punch portfolio and includes tobaccos from six different countries. It features a Cameroon wrapper, a US Broadleaf Binder, and Nicaraguan, Dominican, Honduran, and Brazilian filler tobaccos. The result is a medium-bodied smoke with spicy, leathery, and sweet tasting notes. 

John Hakim, brand manager for Punch, said, “Father’s Day is the perfect time for us to let the world know that we salute dads, the Dad bod, and the pleasure of smoking a great cigar. So we created this special expression and packed it in tins that own the soft-in-the-middle physique with pride. Punch Dad Bod Pricing & Availability 

Punch Dad Bod is a limited-edition release with boxes hitting shelves nationwide this May. SRP per cigar is $6.99. Full cases will also include four canisters with five cigars per canister (for a total of 20 cigars). Mr. Punch, the brand mascot, appears on the cans, which may be re-used as ashtrays, travel humidors, or for display.
