The name dates all the way back to pre-embargo Cuba, and there are still Cuban Hoyo's made today (though it's a completely separate company). Now Hoyo De Monterrey in Honduras is celebrating 40 years of their wildly popular Excalibur line with a new blend - The Excalibur Black. But can this Broadleaf blend produce the kind of flavor that the increasingly discerning cigar world has come to expect? And the only way to find out is with a cut and a light.
