Cohiba Reaches New Heights with C8

Cohiba is taking luxury to a new level with its latest release, C8. This ultra limited edition cigar is now available at select U.S. duty-free shops and a small number of retailers. The cigar itself is a double corona (7.25” X 54) and contains some of the finest tobaccos of the past three decades.

The Cohiba C8 is the product of years of craft and dedication. C8 boasts an Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper and a wrapper-quality Connecticut Broadleaf binder. The interior consists of exceptional vintage tobaccos, which were hand-picked by blending experts at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago, Dominican Republic. They include Piloto Cubano from 1995, Honduran Olancho San Augustin from 2002, Honduran La Entrada from 2011, Nicaraguan Esteli from 2011 and 2014, and Honduran Jamastran from 2014.

In addition, the tobaccos were aged in tercios made of Royal Palm bark and then finished in Spanish sherry casks.

C8 offers a robust smoking experience that comprises tasting notes such as earth, nuts, wood, caramel, natural sweetness, light spice, and pepper.

Cohiba C8 is presented in a sleek red and matte silver travel box. It comes packaged within a briefcase along with an ST Dupont cutter and lighter. Only 50 Cohiba C8 travel sets have been created, and they will only be available at U.S. duty-free locations and select cigar shops. Every travel set contains individual silver tubes for each cigar.
