Vintage 1990 Rocky Patel Churchill

With Cigar shops closed my options are limited. I'm an amateur cigar lover at best. Only been smoking for about 1 year.

Picked up a Vintage 1990 Rocky Patel Churchill at a local carryout. Not a fan of the Churchill size, I like my Robustos. This cigar was classified as a Maduro. Love the flavor of a good Maduro cigar, Drew Estates Undercrown is probably my favorite next to Macanudo's Vintage section.

This Rocky Patel was a great smoke, good burn, great draw, great craftsmanship. My only dislike is the flavor wasn't as strong as an average Maduro. For me this is a "working" smoke, when I'm working in the yard, working on the car etc. Not a relaxing smoke for me.

    Fonsi - When I was just getting started, say 2-3 yrs in as a cigar beginner, I bought these pretty frequently. Recommend checking out CI.com - they have these cigars as “Seconds”; you can get a bundle of 15 in the sizes you prefer for \~30-40% off.
