Although I wanted my last few of these 5 x 52 box-pressed sticks to rest a bit longer, today I had a taste for a candela. I just couldn’t resist. I think it’s been in my humidor for 5 months or so. Since the last time I smoked one right off the truck, the months of resting have paid off. It smoothed out considerably, and its flavors were enhanced. I’m looking forward to seeing what another 6 months or so of resting will do to these delicious stogies.
The only complaint I have about this cigar is the non-candela cap applied to it. Com’on, Erik. Don’t you know we lovers of candela cigars love the flavor of that sweet, grassy wrapper? Hence the deep cut to eliminate most of that obtrusive cap. 👍

(10 months ago)If you do, I hope you'll like it. They were kind of hard to find for a while, but they may be becoming more available.
