Disappointment

Last evening, I endured a great disappointment when I lit up a Dirty Rat (Liga Privada) and tried to smoke it. First, on a cold draw, it didn't have that nice syrupy flavor that they usually emit. After toasting the foot, I tried to light it and could not keep it lit for more than two puffs. I kept after it for about 20 minutes then consigned it to sewer duty. I'm certain this was a one-off thing but still it was a disappointment since those little rodents have always been good to me.

This afternoon, I'm having another favorite ... a Drew Undercrown in a size some call a "Cuban Corona". It is my favorite cigar size and happily, it is not giving me any trouble.
