A San Cristobal Revelation Legend, that is. This gorgeous 6.25 x 52 cigar had been in my humidor for a while, so I figured that it was time to give it a go. Again, ‘Pepin’ Garcia has created something truly wonderful!
A medium-full strength/body gem with bountiful smoke production, the Revelation Legend has a unique flavor profile. Along with balanced notes of spice, cedar, toast, and sweetness that flits in and out of the final third, there was a flavor note throughout that I couldn’t identify. I checked online for more information and found one of the tasting notes listed was smoked almonds. Bingo. That was it.
Its finish was long and delicious, and its room note was delightfully pleasant – wife approved. Put me down as an Ashton/Garcia devotee now. I’m so glad I bought 3 of ‘em!
And check out that band. Wow!

(13 months ago)Nice stick. Try the Elegancia. My personal favorite San Crisobal - medium-mild - nice midday or morning coffee smoke.
