Easily the most I've ever spent for a non-Cuban cigar: $26
I've had Ashton before and know it is a quality brand so I decided to splurge and snag up this ESG Robusto.
The construction, smoke, draw, ash and burn were top-notch.
The flavors were around a peppery, graham cracker, burnt toast (in a good way) kind of flavor. Mine smoked closer to Medium than Full but danced around elements that kept it interesting. I smoked this thing to nub partly because of the cost but also because it was enjoyable.
Finally a winter day I could enjoy a cigar outside. I chose the top of the stack in the humidor and wasn't disappointed.
This wasn't easy to come by either, most shops don't carry this ESG. One guy kept telling me I was talking about the VSG (which is also a good smoke).
The only negative is the cost. It's at that range that you can pick up a few sticks for the price of just one and probably would be satisfied and content with the cheaper cigars. It's good though...
