Smoked: Southern Draw Rose of Sharon

I always neglected this cigar due to the hype. But now I'm sold. This thing is a beauty. Seeing ifs shaggy wrapped foot at first and knowing I had to start puffing right away instead of my toasting ritual was a draw back. But man did the flavor profile step up and shock me. Notes of Cream, Earth, wood, and yes Raisins. On the retro hale , straight raisin. Amazing.

    You have chosen wisely (as the knight in Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade says). It's an AJ Fernandez that doesn't get enough attention. And yes, there are raisin notes in there. Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed. Enjoy! Very fine stick.
