I’ve yet to find a cigar from La Aurora that excites my palate as much as their 1903 Edition Preferidos Emerald (Ecuador) blend in both Robusto and Doble Perfecto vitolas. Some time ago, I received a free La Aurora variety sampler with a box purchase of 1903 Edition Ecuador Robustos. One of the 10 cigars in the sampler was this 5 x 54 1903 Edition Preferidos Doble Perfecto Gold (Corojo). It was good, but nothing special -- rather one-dimensional, with tasty, woody notes and light spices. Not bad, just nothing spectacular. I should probably smoke more than just one before forming an opinion, but it is what it is. Cheers!
