Nica(ragua) Libre

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much out of this.

And for no reason … other than I had impression that it was not going to be a good smoke.

But it was good. The hearty flavors were mild but enjoyable. I got a lot of coffee, earthy vibes from most of it with a hint of something in the background. After reading other reviews online, maybe that hint was a ‘chocolate’ flavor others described. Regardless, it was nice.

The burn was A+, no re-lights and damn if I wasn’t done with it before I knew what was going on.

It was a medium, easy smoke that I enjoyed.

In my mind, this would be a good cigar to pass out at a gathering. It is cheap enough that newbies can waste it without too much angst but regular cigar smokers would appreciate the good Maduro smoke.
