I have always enjoyed this blend. Funny,..For me..the 20th anniversary … not so much.So these tubos claim (form a certain website) they are extra aged. However, I can’t find anything online that verifies this claim. Not even on the RP website??? Anyway, I aged ‘em. Great cigar! Oak, Earth and leather to start, a little cinnamon..hints of graham cracker..smooth! @ about the halfway point a sweetness kicks in. Honey? Molasses perhaps? It clings to the oakyness like peas and carrots. Just works, for me anyway. Perfect construction, an impeccable draw via a deep V cut. Tight burn line!

(9 months ago)Very interesting. Did you age them in their tubes, i.e. just let them sit after they were in your possession? Or, did you open the tubes and put them in a humidor? I let tubo cigars just remain in their tubes until I'm ready to smoke them. I know there are other schools of thought about that.
