Guests never came to the lounge so, it's a solo smoke tonight. And that's ok! Because tonight I'm in great company with this cigar!
The Arturo Fuente Destino Al Siglo is a Dominican puro . Made with tobaccos from The Fuente estates in the DR. What makes it different from opus x is it uses a Cuban habano wrapper instead of Corojo. The cigar was made to celebrate 100 years of Arturo Fuente. I wish I could fully showcase the band. It won't let me post video. Featured on the left is a portrait of Carlito in the middle the patriarch Don Arturo, and on the right Don Carlos Sr. 3 generations of cigar making.
This is the robusto format in 5 by 50.
Flavor notes come as classic opus. With a spice, CUBANESQUE peppery earth and nuts.
The ash is a little flaky and the burn isn't the best. Ohwell. It's a hand made product and it happens! At least it tastes great.
God bless you all!
Cheers!!!
