Day of reflection

Smoked: La Palina Blue Label

Today the weather is almost exactly as it was 23 years ago. My wife was working in Manhattan and I was off. Cigars give me the opportunity to relax and reflect. Today I remember all of the first responders who gallantly rushed to save others in the World Trade Center buildings, the innocent people who perished in them and my Citadel classmates who fought the war on terror afterwards.

    Amen, brother. Amen. I thought the same exact thing about the weather and how clear and blue the sky was, identical, on these 2 days 🙏

      And after the attacks, how quiet the blue sky was without any airplanes at all. At the time, I worked for a company headquartered next to the Chicago Center Air Traffic Control facility. It became an armed fortress. Unforgettable.

      I am 1986 grad. One of those dinosaurs before the first women arrived in 96. I am sure she keeps you in line👍
