Dark skies and dark wrapper

Smoked: Asylum Schizo Robusto Maduro

Honduran binder and filler cloaked with a dark and oily Mexican Maduro wrapper. Medium to medium plus. Wish it smoked as nice as it looked. Basically a two trick poney of leather and dark sweet coffee. Good construction and combustion, but a somewhat of a let down. This has been in humidor 6 months and hoped the time would make it a little better from the first one I had.

    I haven't smoked an Asylum in many years. Two trick pony is a good description of many Asylums in my experience. But there's always a series exception. If anyone has a top-notch Asylum I should try, I'm open to suggestions.
