Another delicious Connecticut cigar is the J. C. Newman Diamond Crown. Made by Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic, and aged for 5 years, this No. 4, a 5.5 x 54 Toro, features a Connecticut Shade wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a selection of 5 different fillers from the Caribbean and Central America. It’s been a few days since I smoked it, and since I no longer record tasting notes, etc., when trying a new cigar, suffice it to say it was one excellent, tasty, and well-constructed cigar. In two words: Box Worthy. Cheers!
