This maduro cigar delivered a good smoke.
The dark and oily wrapper and earthy notes were constant throughout.
A friend of mine gave this to me after he purchased a box of them. His initial assessment was 'it's ok, got better as it went, yeah I kind of liked it'. I concur.
He did mention the other day that he enjoys them more and more each time he smokes them and I can easily see how that could happen.
At times it pulled more than a medium profile but was not overpowering.
And during the smoke there are hints of other flavor profiles that are deceptively elusive but enjoyable all the same.
Not a bad was to spend a weekday night, especially paired with a Willett Pot Still (heavy pour).
