Smoked: Padron Damaso

Happy National Rum Day. I am celebrating with a Padron Damaso with a Kirk & Sweeney rum. The Damaso has great construction, great aroma and great taste. Just enough pepper to keep the sweetness of the rum in check without overpowering it.

    Sounds wonderful. I don't have any rum at the moment, but if I did, and if I'd realized it's National Rum Day, I would have chosen that as my pairing today. I can always count on you, brother, to alert us to a special day for spirits. Cheers! 😊
