It's that time of the year. Squirrels are gathering and hiding their nuts - if you'll pardon the expression. And we know even a blind squirrel can pair an interesting liqueur with a cigar sometimes.
Caldwell’s Lost & Found Blind Squirrel Gordo has flavors that include pepper. earth, nuts, hay, grass, leather, and some cream. It’s a very basic flavor profile with not much complexity. Waiting for more, but…no transition to any other flavor notes. It may have been better blended to suit the long-tailed rodent's discerning tastes.
The ash was flaky with an uneven burn line. My torch was working overtime. This is not a very well-constructed cigar.
I really didn’t get much out of this cigar. The Blind Squirrel is a very average smoke – just a shade above meh. But now I can check this off my list of Lost & Founds that I have tried.

(6 months ago)not good...so it was a good pairing for the cigar. Like some couples I've known, they brought out the worst in each other.
