If you ever have the chance to try a shaggy foot, same principle, no wrapper until you burn thru the shaggy (filler), about the same length as the stripped. Always fun to enjoy a stick that way!

(5 years ago)I have smoked a shaggy foot cigar but it usually burns quickly thru that part ... Seems not as tight packed in that area.
