It was a dark and stormy night...

It was a dark and stormy night...not really, it was just overcast with rain.

But I tried the Fasa Noche.

I got this cigar as a freebie at a General Cigar Co event, along with the Fasa Sol.

The dark oscuro wrapper gives it an intimidating look and it smokes exactly as you would expect. I pulled some pepper flavor but would describe it as a dark, thick smoke.

Once lit, that light flaky ash contrasted nicely (visually) against that dark wrapper. (I don't have a picture of that so you have to imagine it on your own).

The difference between the Sol and Noche is like Day and Night (any maybe where they got the inspiration for the name...maybe).

My personal preference would be the Sol over the Noche but both were good smokes.
