As Thanksgiving rapidly approaches, the Cigar World team wanted to do something pretty darn simple. Ask you, the best cigar fanatics on the planet, what cigar (or cigars) are you thankful for?

There's no right answer.

There’s no wrong answer.

Hell, you don’t even need to have one answer.

If you’re thankful for 50 cigars, let us know!

I’ll kick it off. And don’t get me wrong, I could probably list a handful of cigars I look forward to each and every time I smoke them. But, the cigar below hits the old heartstrings everytime I think about it, and that’s why I’m damn thankful for it.

Punch Grand Cru

Why? What is it about Grand Cru? As much as I love the tobacco in the cigar, it’s more so the sense of nostalgia it provides me. This cigar reminds me of incredible times with some of the most important people in my life, so that’s why I’m thankful for this cigar. If you’ve never smoked it, I highly recommend it. You can check out the blend details and learn more at the link below.

Wrapper: Connecticut Shade

Binder: Connecticut Broadleaf

Filler: Honduran, Nicaraguan, Dominican Piloto Cubano

I’m relatively new to really enjoying a nice smoke, but I’m thankful for Macanudo cigars and becoming more and more thankful for Olvia cigars too.

I am extremely thankful that I live in a state, NH, that let's adults pursue the finer things in life. I take advantage of this every week and offer thanks with a cut, a flame, and a puff. So after the turkey, enjoy and celebrate the finer side of celebrating with your favorite stick.

I would have to say I am thankful for the Bolivar Churchill (Dominican) This was my first venture into premium hand rolled cigars. This cigar is like a first love. Maybe not the prettiest. There are other blends that are better but you just can’t forget your first.

**I'm thankful for a lot of cigars. I want to give a shout-out to the tobacco master that started me out with the right cigar as a beginner and got me hooked. Since then I've grown to love:. Patron 64th Anniversary for it's taste, draw, and memories. I always look forward to a Rocky Patel the Disciple, for it's smoothness, draw, craftsmanship, and notes of taste throughout. Those are my top 2 but since have grown to be adventurous. **

    Romeo Y Julietta 1875 Bully

    ***** #1 In my top 5 cigars

Awesome fist light. Great aromatherapy, razor sharp burn with long ash, mild to med creamy nutty cedar rich smoke. Strong finish but still creamy not harsh a real cool finger pincher. My Lisa likes to pick the ash and play in it. I believe, if someone picked up this tiny butt they would be satisfied with what was left from a beautifully constructed masterpiece!.

I like the hoyo de Monterrey 1066 church hill. Very soothing, earthy, with hints of leather, oak, spice notes.

Ava Marie is a great smoke to cuddle with a nice bourbon around the holidays..

I am still thankful for my very first real cigar that was not a Swisher Sweet or Have a Tampa cigar. It was 1975 and I was stationed in Madrid Spain and my wife was in the Base Hospital after giving birth to our daughter. Since I couldn't stay at the hospital I drove into Madrid for dinner and as I passed a tobacco store I got my first Cuban cigar. It was a Montecristo and I remember that it began stout but improved rapidly as my palate sort of caught up. A great memory to add to one of my most memorable occasions. So, I am thankful for the birth of a healthy baby girl and my first real journey on the cigar highway.

I am thankful for the Stilwell by Dunbarton, when I first lit this cigar up I knew it was special and damn if I wasn't right. This cigar had me captivated for hours with the burn, taste and construction, after I finished this gem I went out and bought a box of these. This is my choice for 2022 Cigar of the Year.
