CAO has just released a pretty cool little social video series where they feature a certain cigar in their lineup and then suggest (and show how to make) the perfect seasonal beverage to pair with that cigar.

CAO Gold is a mellow to medium bodied smoke that’s dressed in a dazzling Ecuadoran Connecticut seed wrapper and is packed with well-aged Nicaraguan tobaccos, creating a cigar that features delicious notes of nuts, earth, and pepper.

Even with drink and cigar pairings being subjective, we think this dynamic duo seems to pair pretty perfectly.

How to mix up your own summer shandy

If you’re looking for a refreshing drink to pair with your CAO Gold that’s a cinch to mix up at any barbecue or backyard party, this is it. Just combine some of your go-to vodka with the lemonade of your choice and your favorite summer beer, and you’re ready to #MixUpAGoodTime.

You’ll need: 

• 2 oz vodka
• 3 oz lemonade
• 3 oz beer of choice

Then:

1. Pour your ingredients into an ice-filled cup of your choice
2. Stir together to mix and chill
3. Garnish with a slice of orange or lemon
4. Cheers and light up that CAO Gold
