Mix Up A Good Time: CAO Pilon X Moscow Mule

In the second episode of #MixUpAGoodTime, CAO has decided to focus on vodka as the main ingredient to create another one of summer’s most refreshing cocktails to smoke with a cigar:

Why CAO Pilon and a Moscow Mule?

CAO comes up with some pretty wild sh*t from time to time, actually all the time. So, when I first heard of combining Pilon with a Moscow Mule, I was a bit skeptical. However, any and all doubt was quickly squashed after I mixed this up for myself.

Obviously, you’re your own judge, but I may say the subtle hints of spice from the CAO Pilon (and from the ginger beer) provided a truly pleasurable daytime drinking and smoking experience.

How to mix up your own moscow mule

If you’re looking for a refreshing summer drink to pair with your CAO Pilon that’s easy to mix up and even easier to put down, this is it. Just combine some of your go-to ginger beer, vodka, and lime juice with a hefty amount of ice, and make sure you’ve got your copper mugs!

For a batch serving, you’ll need: 

• 4 cups of ice
• 4 cups of ginger beer
• 3 cups of vodka
• 1 cup of lime juice
• 3-4 limes
• Mint leaves

Then:

1. Grab your favorite large punch bowl
2. Combine the ice, ginger beer, vodka, lime juice, lime wedges, and mint
3. Serve in copper mugs
4. Garnish with more mint (if wanted) and spark up that CAO Pilon

For a single serving, you’ll need:

• 1-2 oz of the vodka of your choice
• ½ - 1 oz of lime juice
• 5 - 6 oz of your favorite ginger beer
• Ice
• 1 lime wedge
