Cigar Reviewed: Henry Clay War Hawk Rebellious
Smoked at: Bu
The Henry Clay War Hawk Rebellious paired with Basil Hayden's neat is like a good PBnJ on a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon.
This medium-bodied stick is packed with a profile of earthy, cocoa and mesquite complement the sweet brown sugar and touch of black pepper of the Basil Hayden.
The key to enjoying the pairing is to drink the Hayden neat, and light the War Hawk with a either a cedar match or a regular match. I used a V-cut to get the full flavor of the entire cigar.
I suggest that you sit down and enjoy this pairing with a Miles Davis or David Burbeck playing softly in the background.
