So the first one I tried to light basically unwrapped itself. Hey, it's a manmade item using natural materials, so it happens. After finding another puro in the humidor we set to puffing. Using a V cut seemed appropriate, and the initial draw was fabulous. Easy light. Great draw and spice, more spice and then spice. Notes of pepper, red, black and white. Some cinnamon, and yet the subtleness was perfect. Huge amounts of smoke. Even burn, no touch-ups needed. This is a robust smoke. No doubt about it. About 2/3 into it some cedar and earth, even a bit of leather was there. All in all a great cigar. Not for the faint of heart. But not overpowering. I'd give a a 90 to 92 all things considered. Another Fernandez masterpiece. Give it a go , you will not be disappointed.
