Cigar Reviewed: SP1014 Black

Smoked at: Sanj’s Smoke Shop (Bloomfield, NJ)

This cigar exceeded my expectations- which is saying a lot given Sanj Patel’s SP1014 Red easily made my top 5 list of 2022. Starts with a strong burst of pepper upon lighting. If there’s anything to quibble with, it’s the strength of the initial pepper blast. But after a few puffs the pepper gives way to a rich chocolate flavor that remains strong as the flavors settle into a robust creamy smoke down to the nub. The construction is immaculate and the draw on my 754 perfect.
