Cigar Reviewed: Rocky Patel Sun Grown Maduro

When I want a cigar to kick me in the teeth (in the most enjoyable way possible,) I reach for this one. I'm not the world's biggest Rocky Patel smoker, but when they hit, they hit big time for me. This is probably my favorite cigar in the entire Rocky Patel catalog, and to me, there aren't much like it out there. This cigar is a full-intensity experience and not for the faint of heart - there is plenty of pepper to this one, but behind it are evolving, strong flavors that work perfectly after a nice, full meal. Smokers who love a bold, rich cigar will love this one, and while it isn't close to an every day stick for me, it's one I can always rely on as a slow-smoking, dark and inviting beauty.
