Cigar Reviewed: Punch Signature

The Punch Signature is a fantastic full-bodied treat to introduce friends to smoking serious cigars. Never harsh, just classic flavors with a bit of a kick, yet smoothness from the Ecudorian Corojo wrapper. I love a quality corojo such as the Gran Habano line and any others employing this great yet tempermental leaf. This wrapper flavor profile lead me to enjoy fine handmade cigars. One day, I hope to try a Punch Rare Corojo as the value to quality ratio of this brand is extremely positive. I find a sweetness of red pepper, with a refreshing kick of black pepper to be enjoyed while transitioning through this stick. Perfect balance, this is a no-brainer box buy. The milk chocolate brown color of the wrapper says it all with a slick oily sheen. Not a ton of veins and easy draw make it last for about an hour for the robusto. Hints of earthiness, leather is prominent, and my favorite, the cedar woods come through in this great blend from Augustin Garci. This is a great value cigar and one worthy of regular rotation.
