Cigar Reviewed: Punch Aniversario

Smoked at: Leaf Restaurant Bar & Cigar Lounge - Easton, PA

I was surprised at how mellow and creamy this Punch Aniversario 2021 turned out. Punch has always had a rep for being... punchy, right? But this double corona was one of the most mellow, well-rounded, and relaxing cigars I've smoked this year. Seems a little out of character, but I was impressed by their decision to go the down-the-middle route in strength. The blend is well-balanced and loaded with notes of leather, cedar, nuts, brown sugar and baking spices. My only regret is that they're made in limited edition and will only be around for so long.

In a word: Excellent.
