Cigar Reviewed: Montecristo Platinum

I got this one as a five pack a “gift with purchase” when I bought a box of Montecristo 444’s two years ago. I hadn’t yet tried any of these toro sized smokes yet. I had some free time brewed an Americano and selected this smoke to go along for the ride. It was perfect. The Platinum Series really lives up to the high CA ratings. Great draw and tons fo creamy smoke. There was a distinct cinnamon on the prelight draw. After lighting the flavor over all was a great toasted woodiness that really went with the espresso based drink. I also noted some hints of chocolate and coffee which the Americano greatly enhanced. I ordered a box before I even finished smoking this one! Add these to your humidor they don’t disappoint.
