Perdomo Did Texas Right

Cigar Reviewed: Perdomo Texas Edition
Smoked at: McKinney, TX
Pre-light, the cigar was firm to the touch with an oily sheen on the wrapper and a pleasant musky earthy smell.
Easy draw after the punch and throughout the smoke. After lighting, you get hints of smoky wood, hay, and a peppery taste on the palate with a spicy retrohale. Only at the end did it begin to feel spongy.
I enjoyed it with a Dr Pepper and Stevie Ray Vaughan playing in the background. It stayed cool to the touch to the very end.
This is about an hour long smoke to enjoy on a quiet evening alone or with friends. A great cigar overall. I will be adding more to my humidor and saving them for special occasions such as Texas Independence Day.
