1st Review and Tasting - 3/27/23 - Lunch
Best time or food type pairings:
Mfr Flavor notes: The profile is held down by a unique honey note, overtop layers of vanilla, coffee, earth, and bread.
Cold Draw
earthier cedar notes with medium hints of sweetness from the draw, but not the wrapper, feels pleasant First Third:
Creamy notes here can taste the honey and bread undertones
Full flavors without being overpowering
Mild pepper mid tongue on aftertaste, but flavorful, not spicy
Earthy notes coming through as burn continues, flavorful but not overpowering or “dirty”
Consistent and even burn
Second Third:
More earthy notes and mild spice comes though as transition to 2nd begins
Still pleasant and medium bodied
Creamy
Spice notes on the back of the tongue 30 sec + after exhale
Transitioning to less sweet notes, much more floral and earthy flavor, still creamy
Final Third:
More balance
Cream and light honey/bread notes coming through and earth notes recede
Returns a lot of 1st third flavor profiles.
Overall Notes:
Very creamy and pleasant cigar. Nothing standout spectacular, but still very enjoyable and could be smoked during any occasion
Even burn throughout
Not like a Maduro, feels like a mid body traditional flavor profile
