Rocky Patel Decade 10th Anniversary (box pressed)

Cold draw- Earthy, subtle seeet, cracked pepper, and there’s something I can’t put my finger on it’s making me think of a steak.

Hot Draw- not gonna lie the initial draw on this hot made me cough haha BUT after that slightly traumatizing (totally kidding) moment the flavors are rushing in. There’s cedar, nutty flavor almost like a walnut, the cracked black pepper spice, and that steak-ish after taste.

Upon looking up other reviews I’ve found the flavor is a mushrooms-esk hearty flavor. Imagine you biting into a perfectly seared, grill marks, perfectly seasoned ribeye cooked to perfection (medium rare duh) and you top it with some sautéed mushrooms, this is like that. I was hungry and smoked this and I’m not hungry anymore.

This is definitely a good cigar, not the best of RP but I believe it’s a well made cigar. I had no issue with the wrapper unwrapping, I cut with a punch cut, and lit with cedar marches which caused an uneven toast but it evened itself out!

Not one of my cigars of choice, but an excellent review. Gee, I just may have to revisit that one. 👍
