Cigar Reviewed: Macanudo Vintage 2010

I was honored with reviewing this stick for Cigar World and was grateful to have been chosen. The 2010 arrived and went straight to my 65 degree/ 68 RH humidor to sleep for 4 days. Great looking stick with a vibrant band and large spill wrap up 2/3 the stick from the foot. From spark to ashes , this was a great burning, easy drawing, consistently flavored, mellow smoke that I really enjoyed. The reason for the 4 star rating was 2 large wrinkles in the wrap from the cap to just under the band. I was a bit surprised this defect made it through their QC/ Packaging Dept... I paired the stick with a strong Columbian coffee and was very happy with it but couldn't seem to get the wrinkles in the wrap out of my mind while enjoying a really good cigar from a maker that I often enjoy. I will certainly be smoking one again. Thanks Cigar World.
