Smoked: Macanudo Inspirado Orange

Macanudo Inspirado Orange Robusto is made with a combination of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican filler, a Honduran binder and a Colorado Honduran wrapper.

The flavors are basic and minimal – wood, earth, a hint of almonds, and kitchen cabinet spices. It’s not an unpleasant smoke. Just slightly above meh.

Tight draw, even burn line, decent smoke output, and light grey ash that holds like a stack of nickels.

The Orange is the highest rated of the Inspirados. My tastes run differently. I’ve smoked this stick twice now and have nothing truly negative to say about it (other than the tight draw), but nothing truly positive to say either. If I was feeling generous, I might give it a 3. I’m not. Rack it up as a 2.
