Cigar Reviewed: Rocky Patel Vintage 03 Cameroon

Had some time and was visiting my friends machine shop. Sparked up this stick to pass the time. I am a huge fan of the vintage 90’ and 92’ and got these in a sampler. The first few puffs were awesome. The Cameroon wrapper lends a nice sweetness, especially in the aroma. It really didn’t strike me as being too strong but it still had a lot of complexity. It has a slightly nutty cocoa dominating taste. With the sweetness from the wrapper is was like a milk chocolate hot cocoa. The construction was perfect and had a perfectly even burn the whole way. The ash was bright white and had a lot of staying power. In the final third I had some caramel and graham cracker notes, almost like a s’more. I didn’t want to put this cigar down! I smoked this in the short Gordo size and it was a solid 80 min smoke time. Overall I will be buying more of these to keep on hand.
