Interesting stick. Wrapped in an additional leaf instead of cellophane.
After cutting and dry-toke, this stick had an extremely easy draw but not too easy that it felt like it would be a quick burn.
Light and first third, I wasn't impressed with this stick as many others are. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. The flavor of fresh green grass hit me hard and I almost gave up on it but I paid for the stick and decided to give it a fair chance to the end...GLAD I DID!
As I got about a half inch in, the grass flavor was gone and had developed into a woodsy flavor and turned the corner to give other flavors as well...including peanut, toast, and farm like aroma/notes (if that makes sense).
Final third...I am loving my choice of cigar. Notes of peanut, toast, farm like aromas/notes now have intensified and two other flavors...pepper and pie crust... have introduced themselves.
After burning my fingers, I sat down the tiny end and really wished I had another. I was extremely satisfied and wowed by the Leaf by Oscar. Decided to go ahead and purchase two more for my humidor/collection.
I hope my description of the notes I got from this stick are in your wheelhouse and you enjoy it as much as I did.
Note: There were a couple issues with the burn wanting to slightly tunnel but I let it correct itself for the sake of this review just to see if it would...it did. Paired with a peanut butter and Chocolate Whiskey...it was beautiful.
