I think skinnier cigars are my thing

Cigar Reviewed: 7-20-4 dog walker

I love, love the 7-20-4 Barberpole Hustler, which is also a dog walker size. One of my absolute favs.

I think I love the feel of a dog walker size in my hands, like a lancero. Something about the skinnier sizes entices me. It just fits so well, and they smoke quick. But not too quick. Just enough time to sit and chill and relax and think, which is what cigars are for.

Finishing a cigar is a nice feeling, but sometimes I worry I'm not able to finish a bigger one. Maybe too much nicotine for me, or I get busy. I want to get my money's worth and these sizes are so perfect for my life and schedule.

I sat and finished this in about 20-30 min and it burned pretty even. Didn't need touch ups. Super duper smooth, nice almost caramely or brown sugar flavor in the beginning and middle. Smelt like nice leather. It was able to hold a pretty long ash as well. Slightly peppery.

Gets a little hot at the end, as expected with this size, but not too bitter as you might think. Awesome draw and output.

Next time, I'd try it with a nice milky hot morning coffee, and I bet it would be a five stars. Had a neat Woodford Reserve this time, but this might be more of a morning cigar for my future.
